SANTO DOMINGO.- El Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Comunicaciones (MOPC) entregó este martes un avance de RD$900 millones para la construcción de caminos vecinales en cuatro provincias.
Los recursos fueron entregados por el ministro Deligne Ascención, quien informó en rueda de prensa que las obras serán realizadas en Barahona, Elías Piña, Independencia y San Juan.
Los caminos que serán rehabilitados, unos 121.27 kilómetros, conducen a proyectos agroforestales y generarán alrededor de 350 empleos directos, según el Ministro.
Ascención dijo que el monto total será de RD$885,093,917.27, con un avance inicial a las firmas contratistas de RD$177,018,783.45.
