Deligne Ascención entrega obras por 575 millones que benefician a moradores de las provincias Samaná y María Trinidad Sánchez.
LAS TERRENAS. – El ministro de Obras Públicas, Deligne Ascención, anunció aquí los trabajos de ampliación de la entrada al municipio de Samaná, con una inversión de 700 millones de pesos, y aseguró que esa obra contribuirá a fortalecer el turismo en la zona.
Aseguró que esos trabajos estarían concluidos para fines del presente año o principios del 2022, y que la entrada a Samaná será convertida en una especie de boulevard.
Expresó, además, que se está en conversación con los propietarios de algunas inmuebles a ser afectadas que requieran ser indemnizados.
Ascención hizo el señalamiento durante el acto de inauguración de distintas obras en los municipios Las Terrenas y Sánchez, provincia Samaná, así como en comunidades pertenecientes a la provincia María Trinidad Sánchez, por un valor de 575 millones de pesos.
Dijo que las obras construidas contribuirán con el desarrollo económico y social de las comunidades beneficiadas.
Entre las obras inauguradas en Las Terrenas figuran el asfaltado de calles, construcción de badenes, aceras y contenes, señalización vial, colocación de alcantarillas, reconstrucción de caminos vecinales en las comunidades Palmilla, Monte Rojo, Sánchez, El Mogote, Cabeza de Toro y Las Garitas.
Asimismo, el ministro de Obras Públicas dijo que a finales de este mes será inaugurado el hospital de Las Terrenas, que fue dejado a medio construir por la pasada administración de gobierno.
Adelantó que se reunirá con los alcaldes de todos los municipios de la provincia Samaná, para iniciar un proceso de pavimentación de calles, aceras y contenes.
Aseguró que el gobierno del Presidente Luis Abinader y el Ministerio de Obras Públicas tienen un compromiso de impulsar el turismo en la provincia Samaná.
Detalles de obras entregadas
En el municipio Santa Bárbara de Samaná brigadas del MOPC reconstruyeron el camino vecinal que comunica Las Palmillas, Monte Rojo, Sabaneta y Loma de Piña, en busca de mejorar el acceso a los residentes y tener mayores beneficios para transportar las cosechas de rubros agrícolas.
En Samaná también fue entregado el camino vecinal Palmilla-Monte Grande. Esta obra había sido iniciada en el 2017, pero fue descontinuada por las pasadas autoridades.
Mientras que el senador por Samaná, Pedro Catrain, dijo que la visita del ministro de Obras Públicas a la zona es sumamente relevante, “porque en solo cinco meses del gobierno del Presidente Luis Abinader aquí se han realizado más obras que en los 20 años de gobierno del PLD”.
Entre esas obras refirió el sistema de tratamiento de aguas negras, el puente de El Limón, la entrada de Samaná, las carreteras Samaná-Las Galeras, Samaná-El Valle, Lanza-Morón, el acueducto de Loma Atravesada, y un plan de asfaltado en toda la provincia.
En el municipio de Sánchez los trabajos incluyeron la limpieza y ampliación de calles, colocación de alcantarillas, tubos de 42 pulgadas en el arroyo de Cabeza de Toro, limpieza y destronque, limpieza de cunetas, aceras, contenes y badenes, al igual que pasarelas vehiculares y peatonales.
En el tramo Cabeza de Toro-La Garita se trabajó en el relleno de material, colocación de base y construcción de gaviones.
En 8.22 kilómetros de ese tramo se trabajó en el relleno de material, colocación de base, construcción de gaviones, imprimación, suministro y colocación de asfaltado; excavación para canaletas construcción y excavación de canaletas vaciadas.
Los trabajos también incluyeron el paso peatonal de las playas Bonita y Ballena; los caminos vecinales Palmilla-Monte Rojo, Sabaneta-Loma de Piña, y puente badén El Limón-Agua Sabrosa, entre otras.
Del mismo modo, se llevaron a cabo trabajos de construcción de un puente cajón, vaciado de platea y dentellones, así como la torta de nivelación de superficie.
En la provincia María Trinidad Sánchez el MOPC entregó la reconstrucción de 0.30 kms de muros de gaviones, y canalización en el camino Los Indios-Caya Clara, trabajos que incluyeron limpieza, tala de árboles, excavación en material inservible con retro excavadora y preparación de canasto para muros de gaviones.
También, excavación y construcción de zapatas, de cuerpos de muros de gaviones, vaciado de hormigón armado sobre alcantarilla, relleno granular detrás de muros de gaviones.
A la actividad asistieron la gobernadora provincial de Samaná, Elsa de León; el senador Pedro Catrain Bonilla, los viceministros Nelson Colón, Roberto Herrera y Mélito Santana; Nelson Rafael Abreu, el Tesorero Nacional, Ruddy Correa; el presidente de la Federación de Juntas de Vecinos, Robinson Espino, entre otros.
La invocación religiosa estuvo cargo del sacerdote Jesús María Valerio, de la parroquia Sagrado Corazón de Jesús.
Durante el acto se anunció la construcción del camino vecinal Laguna Grande- Batey Hormiga, y un puente en la comunidad de El Limón.
En su recorrido también, el ministro Ascención supervisó el hospital Alberto Gautreaux, del municipio de Sánchez, donde se harán unos trabajos de remodelación, incluidas las filtraciones.
