Presidente Abinader anuncia acciones sin precedentes en Moca para seguir mejoría canasta familiar del pueblo
Moca, provincia Espaillat. El presidente Luis Abinader se reunió con productores avícolas y Porcicultores con quienes pasó revista a la situación y dio garantías de que el Gobierno, a través del INESPRE, el Banco Agrícola y otras instituciones beneficiarán con cuatro millones de libras de pollo a la población luego de la firma de un acuerdo y otros beneficios históricos sin precedentes firmados allí.
El presidente Luis Abinader consideró que este encuentro y con este acuerdo se materializan dos cosas muy importantes: uno, que ponemos soluciones factibles y dos, que lo hacemos de la mano y dialogando con los sectores involucrados.
Dijo que no existe una solución a largo plazo si esta no cuenta con el respaldo y apoyo de todos los implicados.
«En la responsabilidad de este o cualquier gobierno arbitrar los diversos intereses que se presentan en cada sector», indicó. El presidente Luis Abinader, quien estuvo en un encuentro con productores avícolas y porcicultores en esta importante provincia del país.
El jefe de Estado manifestó que el gobierno debe garantizar que los alimentos lleguen a precios asequibles para la población, pero eso no se consigue con un decreto, sino interactuando con los productores para eliminar ineficiencias, especulaciones coyunturales en la intermediación y fomentar la productividad y la competitividad».
Asimismo, pidió que le permitieran agradecer el esfuerzo, la generosidad y la visión de país de todos los productores y representantes allí presentes.
Dijo el primer mandatario de la nación que «el acuerdo que hoy firmamos sella un pacto que incide directamente en la calidad de vida de millones de dominicanos. Incide en su seguridad, en su futuro y en su bienestar».
Significó que con este pacto pone en marcha un ambicioso plan de seguridad alimentaria que garantiza unos precios del pollo asequibles y al alcance de todos los ciudadanos de nuestro país.
«Y lo hacemos tocando todos los ejes posibles para garantizar el éxito y la sostenibilidad a largo plazo de esta acción».
Garantizó que «Comprometemos a los productores que mediante compromisos directos venderán al gobierno a través del INESPRE 4 millones de libras de pollo a 50 pesos la libra».
De igual modo por su parte, indicó, el INESPRE se compromete a ejecutar un programa de ventas de pollo entero a 125 pesos la unidad, a través de bodegas móviles, locales propios, locales del Ministerio de Agricultura y la colocación de contenedores refrigerados en lugares estratégicos.
«También involucramos a las plantas procesadoras de pollos que se comprometen en este amplio acuerdo a facilitar y suministrar una flotilla de camiones refrigerados para llegar a los lugares donde INESPRE lo requiera, a fin de que haya abastecimiento en todas las provincias del país».
El jefe de Estado dijo que en adición a esto, el gobierno y los productores trabajarán para establecer una reserva estratégica de 2 millones de libras de pollo, para garantizar el suministro y la estabilidad de los precios mediante un programa de pignoración cuyo costo será asumido por el Ministerio de Agricultura.
«Y, por último, quiero señalar como parte importante de este acuerdo, que el Ministerio de Agricultura y el Banco Agrícola desplegarán también una intensa agenda que permitirá entre otras cosas, acuerdos con las empresas procesadoras de alimentos para animales; ejecutar un programa de siembra de maíz y sorgo a fin de ampliar el suministro de insumos de producción nacional, al tiempo de ahorrar divisas».
El primer mandatario de la nación resaltó que cabe destacar también en este punto, que los productores pecuarios se comprometen a comprar la producción nacional de estos granos a un precio garantizado a ser convenido entre las partes, y el Ministerio de Agricultura a proveer los servicios de preparación de tierra y semillas de alto rendimiento, así como el financiamiento necesario a través del Banco Agrícola.
Manifestó que como les indicó al principio de su intervención «el acuerdo consensuado que hoy les garantiza un plan de acción completo en este importante sector». Estimó el presidente Luis Abinader que este acuerdo es solo el inicio del que haremos en todos los sectores de la agropecuaria nacional: Garantizar precios asequibles a la población haciendo acuerdos con los productores nacionales.
«En cada caso será bien diseñado y estudiado para que la solución a estos problemas que heredamos se le ponga fin de una vez por todas.
El jefe de Estado fue enfático al ponderar que la seguridad alimentaria es un elemento fundamental para el desarrollo sano de una nación.
Tambien que la República Dominicana con su gobierno al frente es consciente de que nada tendrá sentido en nuestra acción gubernamental si lo más básico no está cubierto. Y, dijo, la alimentación del pueblo dominicano está en la primera línea de responsabilidades de este gobierno.
«Por eso, este acuerdo es tan importante. Porque es urgente y porque es importante».
El acuerdo sin precedentes
Mientras, que la firma del
Acuerdo entre Productores, el Ministerio de Agricultura, INESPRE y Banco Agrícola es para bajar el precio de Venta del Pollo
En el encuentro celebrado en Moca, con representantes de las principales empresas productoras y procesadoras de pollo, donde se acordó llevar a cabo el siguiente plan de acción:
1. Los productores se comprometen a venderle al gobierno a través del INESPRE 4 millones de libras de pollo a 50 pesos la libra.
2. INESPRE se compromete a ejecutar un programa de ventas de pollo entero a 125 pesos la unidad, a través de bodegas móviles, locales de INESPRE, locales del Ministerio de Agricultura y la colocación de contenedores refrigerados en lugares estratégicos.
3. Las plantas procesadoras de pollos se comprometen a facilitar y suministrar una flotilla de camiones refrigerados para llegar a los lugares donde INESPRE lo requiera, a fin de que haya abastecimiento en todas las provincias del país.
4. El gobierno y los productores trabajarán para establecer una reserva estratégica de 2 millones de libras de pollo, para garantizar el suministro y la estabilidad de los precios mediante un programa de pignoración cuyo costo será asumido por el Ministerio de Agricultura.
5. El Ministerio de Agricultura y el Banco Agrícola acuerdan con las empresas procesadoras de alimentos para animales ejecutar un programa de siembra de maíz y sorgo a fin de ampliar el suministro de insumos de producción nacional, al tiempo de ahorrar divisas.
6. Los productores pecuarios se comprometen a comprar la producción nacional de estos granos a un precio garantizado a ser convenido entre las partes y el Ministerio de Agricultura a proveer los servicios de preparación de tierra y semillas de alto rendimiento, así como el financiamiento necesario a través del Banco Agrícola.
En el acto estuvieron Limber Cruz, ministro de Agricultura, Víctor (Ito) Bisonó, ministro de Industria y Comercio, Geanilda Vásquez, ministra sin cartera, Pavel Concepción, presidente de la Asociacion Dominicana de Avicultura; el agro empresario Wilfredo Batista, Iván Hernández, director de INESPRE, Fernado Durán, del Banco Agrícola, la gobernadora Nina Candelario, entre otros representantes de lis sectores productores.
