El presidente Luis Abinader, luego de visitar el Merca Santo Domingo y reunirse con productores agrícolas realizó un encuentro con presidentes de juntas de vecinos del municipio Santo Domingo Este en el salón Las Cariátides del Palacio Nacional.
Allí el presidente Luis Abinader aseguró que los problema de las comunidades se irán solucionando por nivel de prioridad.
«Realmente el objetivo de ustedes es mejorar su comunidad y en eso coincide con el objetivo de este Gobierno».
En ese orden indicó que la Comisión de Desarrollo Barrial será responsable de coordinar con las juntas de vecinos para que todas las situaciones presentadas, sean canalizadas a las instituciones correspondientes, para que den las soluciones correspondientes.
El jefe de Estado dijo que todas las juntas de vecinos serán recibidas por circunscripciones y que también serán llevados ministros o representantes de instituciones como La Caasd, la Policía Obras Públicas, los alcaldes o sus representantes.
Significó que las juntas de vecinos pueden ser de cualquier partido político pero lo que importa es que sus comunidades velan para que cumplan con sus exigencias y él está decidido a llevar bienestar a sus localidades.
El acto, con nutrida presencia de miembros de juntas de vecinos y líderes comunitarios contó con la presencia del ministro administrativo de la Presidencia José Ignacio Paliza, Dio Astnació, enlace del Poder Ejecutivo y la Comunidad Cristiana; Anibal Belliard, director general de Operaciones de la Presidencia.
Tuvieron participación de parte de las entidades comunitarias invitadas Jesusita Ferreras Reyes, presidenta de la Junta de Vecinos José A. Rodríguez, Domingo Montero, presidente de la Junta de Vecinos Unidad y Progreso, Alba Luis Bastardo, Junta de Vecinos Terminal Esso; Griselda María Martínez Junta de Vecinos Rosario Mieses.
Los representantes y líderes comunitarios reconocieron en el presidente Luis Abinader su interrelación y contacto con todo el liderazgo comunitario y Cristiano del país desde inicios de Gobierno
