AZUA.- El Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Comunicaciones (MOPC) realizó este lunes aquí un sorteo de 45 obras, pequeñas y medianas, por monto que supera los 183 millones de pesos, con la participación de por lo menos 288 profesionales de la construcción organizados en Mipymes.
La actividad, encabezada por el ministro Deligne Ascención, fue realizada en el pabellón de volibol bajo techo ubicado en el sector Savica, de este municipio, y se distribuyeron obras para las provincias Azua, Pedernales, Independencia y San Juan. Profesionales de la ingeniería y arquitectura que participan tendrán la oportunidad de desarrollar sus capacidades de emprendedores.
Ascención anunció que en los próximos meses volverá a la región Sur para continuar con los sorteos, luego de realizar los próximos en el Gran Santo Domingo la segunda y tercera semana de marzo.
El evento fue coordinado por el Comité de Compras y Contrataciones del MOPC, y busca que profesionales de la ingeniería y la arquitectura participen en esos procesos, como forma de propiciar el desarrollo y el crecimiento de las pequeñas y medianas empresas de la construcción, crear empleos directos e indirectos, y dinamizar la economía de los municipios en las provincias beneficiadas.
Ascención destacó que este es el sorteo número 8 celebrado por la institución, y que en estos eventos se han beneficiado miles de ingenieros independientes y Mipymes.
Resaltó que con la construcción de multiusos, aceras y contenes, así como la rehabilitación de caminos y pavimentación de calles, canalización de ríos, construcción y reconstrucción de centros comunales, el presidente Luis Abinader procura dinamizar las economías de las distintas regiones del país.
Sostuvo que el presidente Abinader y la gestión que encabeza en el MOPC están interesados en que los profesionales de la ingeniería y la arquitectura participen en esos procesos, como forma de propiciar su desarrollo y la dinamización de la economía regional.
Tanto el alcalde de Ruddy González como la gobernadora Grey Pérez, tras ponderar los esfuerzos desplegados por el mandatario para sacar al país del marasmo en que lo dejó el pasado gobierno, destacaron la importancia que reviste la ejecución de obras como estas en las provincias que van a ser intervenidas por el MOPC.
De su lado, la senadora Lía Díaz destacó la transparencia con que se llevó a cabo el sorteo en Azua, y dijo que ese es el ejemplo de lo que significa un gobierno y una administración en Obras Públicas que demuestra que se está trabajando por y para la gente.
Ganadores
El ingeniero Merlin Darío Batista Decena obtuvo el primer lugar para la terminación del estadio de béisbol, por un valor de más de 26 millones de pesos.
Mientras que Manuel Antonio Estrella Vásquez resultó ganador del primer lugar para la construcción de un destacamento policial, y la Constructora CAG SRL resultó ganadora del segundo lugar.
Además del ministro de Obras Públicas, en la actividad participaron la doctora Carina Cedano, directora de Compras y Contrataciones; Diohany Calvo, director de Tecnología; Domingo Santana, director Jurídico; José Madé, director de Planificación y Desarrollo, y Lérica Tobal, directora de Acceso a la Información.
El acto además contó con la presencia de Nelson Maloney y José del Carmen Montero, asesores del ministro; el general Rafael Vásquez Espínola, director de la Comisión Militar y Policial; la senadora Lía Díaz, la gobernadora provincial Ángela (Grey) Pérez Díaz; el alcalde Ruddy González, así como representantes del Colegio Dominicano de Ingenieros, Arquitectos y Agrimensores (CODIA).
